Myriam is a Ph.D. candidate in Developmental Psychology. Her research examines how socioeconomic and structural inequalities shape family dynamics and children’s developmental trajectories. Drawing on ecological systems theory and life-course perspectives, she explores the mechanisms underlying the intergenerational transmission of mobility, with a particular focus on home and neighborhood contexts in early life. Using large-scale longitudinal data, she analyzes heterogeneity in developmental pathways from early childhood into young adulthood to understand how socioeconomic inequalities emerge, persist, and can be mitigated across development, especially in academic and socio-emotional domains.
