Chiara Affatigato joined the Stone Center in August 2023 where she works as a research assistant to the core faculty on projects related to racial, wealth, and housing inequality. Chiara is also in the inaugural cohort of Junior Professional Researchers at ISR, and participates in a variety of mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Chiara earned her B.A. from Macalester College in 2023 with majors in Economics and Educational Studies. Her undergraduate research focused on inequalities within education, school closures, and school segregation.
