Conversation with Professor Donald Tomaskovic-Devey

Sep 23, 2024

Thursday, October 24

}

4–5:30 p.m.

Professor Don Tomaskovic-Devey will join us for an informal conversation about the research coming out of the Comparative Organizational Inequality Network (COIN, learn more) he helped form as well as his current experience as Co-Editor of the American Sociological Review (ASR). The conversation will be moderated by our own CID Faculty Associate Davon Norris.

There will be ample time to ask substantive questions about Don’s research (if possible, please review the article “The Great Separation” in the American Journal of Sociology), but this is also a great opportunity to ask questions about the publishing process at ASR, how a current editor thinks about reviewers, or what things you can do to put yourself in the best position possible when sending work out for review.
